Boneworks in its current state feels more like a tech demo than it does a full-fledged video game. The appeal of the game is interacting with the world and not so much progressing the story or solving its puzzles, which feel half-baked at best. Boneworks also suffers from some technical problems that make it seem a bit unfinished at times, but even so, the game’s innovation in the VR space simply can’t be denied....

I’m glad those days are behind us sufficiently for Goolrick to go public with his book. I say sufficiently, because they certainly aren’t gone completely, much less for good. Southerners cherish privacy and discretion and decorum more than they prize good sense. If they didn’t, Goolrick wouldn’t have had to write his memoir. He’s built his book around a punchline ending—a dark surprise—so I won’t give it away, although to be honest, this structure he’s adopted is my least favorite part of the book....

This year, it’s Rich Miner, a 28-year-old Syracuse fan whose Jim Boeheim tattoo has gone viral. Miner got the coach’s face tatted on his leg in a three-hour session earlier this week because so many aspects of his life have revolved around the Orange and Syracuse basketball.
